How much does Microduck cost?
The announced launch price on Buy Microduck is 400 USD. Sales have not opened here. We do not accept orders, pre-orders, deposits, or payments, and we have not announced purchase terms, taxes, shipping charges, destinations, or delivery estimates.
For comparison, on 27 October 2026, Pollen Robotics’ own product listing states an introductory pre-order price of $399 before taxes and shipping. That is the manufacturer’s offer. Its terms, stock status, and fulfillment arrangements should be checked directly with Pollen Robotics.

A one-dollar difference in the headline figure does not establish which offer has the lower delivered cost. Compare the currency, included items, destination charges, and terms on the same basis before making a purchase decision.
What comes with the robot?
The manufacturer’s Microduck page lists a robot, battery, USB-C cable, and game controller in its base package. It also lists three optional packs: a Charger pack with a dual charger and two batteries, a Dev pack with spare parts and development accessories, and an Accessory pack with play accessories including rollers.
Those manufacturer bundles do not establish the final contents of our own offer. We will publish our package details before sales open. If you want a particular activity, such as skating, check whether the necessary physical accessories are included rather than assuming that a demonstrated behavior means every accessory is in the base box.
Build a realistic Microduck budget
Use a small checklist instead of comparing only the robot price. Some items may be unnecessary for your project, but deciding that in advance makes the comparison clearer.
- Delivered hardware cost: record the product price, currency, tax treatment, shipping charge, and any destination import charges shown by the seller.
- Accessories: identify the specific items you need. Compare the contents of a pack with what you already own before adding it to your budget.
- Development resources: distinguish controlling an existing behavior from training a new policy. Training can introduce a separate computer or cloud-compute expense.
- Terms: check the seller’s return, warranty, and cancellation information, especially when the offer is a pre-order.
- Timing: use the delivery estimate attached to the particular order. A manufacturer’s announcement is not a delivery commitment from every website discussing the robot.
For a coding project, define your first milestone before buying extra equipment.
